Mysterious Objects at Noon (2015) 6 x Giclee prints on paper (42 x 60 cm)
A collaboration between Singaporean artist, Tania De Rozario and Suzanne de Emmony for “Mysterious Objects at Noon’. The project paired artists from UK and Singapore in a contemporary remake of the Surrealist game of ‘Exquisite Corpse’.
This collaborative work was produced via virtual exchange - each piece created in turn and in response to the former.
Emailed exchanges using text (De Rozario) & and images (de Emmony) are an attempt to unravel possible shared experiences and memories in order to transcend the distances in culture, generation and geography that would seem to separate them.
The ‘Mysterious Object at Noon’ collaborations for DEMprojects were supported by The National Arts Council Singapore and resulted in an exhibition in Singapore in 2015 with a follow-up London show later the same year.
